Long absence, big changes!
Dear readers…if there are any left!
I’ve been gone for quite some time now, without much explanation. Well today is the day that changes. For the past four months I’ve been in the process of buying a small parcel of land (seriously small…little forest creatures would say it’s small), in the downtown area. Well that all comes to a close today as I close on the land at 1pm this afternoon, and sign a contract with a local builder!
I wanted to make sure it was going to come together before I told anybody, spying as how the last two houses we were set to close on fell through! But this time, there is no house! So I get to take you through the process of designing and building it with me. We’ve already worked with an architect to get the outside of the house and the interior layouts set.
In the coming weeks and months, I’ll be taking you through the entire process…I’m incredibly excited about this, and I hope you’ll find the posts that follow to be educational, fun, and a little bit drug induced (I’ll need it for the stress)!
