Etsy Find: Kamlamp Company
Recently featured in TEXAS Live Magazine, Kamlamp Company‘s vintage lighting is something to marvel at. Reminiscent of the time when home electricity came into being, every detail of these lamps have been well thought out. Most of the hanging pendants feature a clear bulb with visible carbon filaments. The soft orange glow is sure to add a relaxed atmosphere to any room. I usually hate brass, but the sockets in these lights have an old world finish to them (i.e. they aren’t shiny and cheap looking), that lends to the overall charm.
The desk and table lamps are also rather incredible. The Vintage Industrialist Lantern (above) reminds me of a microphone you would see used in a 30′s radio studio. The Vintage Industrialist Spotlot features an incandescent bulb with a hi/low setting, so it’s great for home office use.
